The Mane Place
My love for horses and the western lifestyle inspired me to build The Mane Place into what it is today. I hope to continue with our large varied inventory and friendly atmosphere as long as there are people out there who enjoy shopping here. My spare time, (and there is not much of it) is filled with horseback riding, country dancing, and family.
For the love of horses, The Mane Place opened its doors in October of 1988. It has since expanded from 700 sq. feet to 4300 sq. feet of not only saddles and tack but with an extensive line of western wear.
The Mane Place has just become an authorized dealer of the Tucker`s Trail Saddle line, and as always we feature a wide selection of new and used saddles.
A Mane Place visit is a shopping experience. Your one stop western store also stocks Leanin' tree cards, Montana Silversmiths jewelry and assorted western and equestrian gifts. Dedicated to selection and service, we offer layaway, gift wrap, and special orders.
Boots! We stock Boulet, Justin, Dan Post and so many more. We try to stock even those hard to find sizes!We carry Western Hats for every occasion, whether you're going for a ride, going out dancing or going to be launched off the back of a bull in PBR competition.
The most important piece of equipment a rider has is the saddle. A less than perfect match between horse, saddle and rider will rob you of the enjoyment of our sport.
We believe the most critical issue is the health and comfort of our horses. An ill-fitting saddle can cause injury, behavior problems and degrade the performance of even the best animal, and it is our responsibility as riders and animal lovers to make sure the fit is perfect and our horses are healthy and comfortable.
We try to maintain the largest possible stock of new and used saddles and will always go the "extra mile" to make sure you can find a saddle that's the perfect match for both of you!
