The Altered Bride Roseanna Martino, owner of The Altered Bride, cares about her clients so much that she ends up attending more weddings than a clergyman and often stays in touch with brides well into their married lives. Her personal attention and her handpicked assortment of gorgeous gowns (most are her own designs) are two the reasons that her store is always humming. Her staff is trained to treat brides like they've never been treated before, and they can be there on the big day to make sure everything is perfect. An on-staff seamstress makes for one stop shopping, and the Altered Bride is particularly adept at turning heirloom dresses into modern masterpieces. Martino's frankness ensures that you won't end up with a dress that's unflattering, but she's so sweet and capable that she's like the fairy godmother every bride deserves.
Roseanna Martino has more than 25 years experience in bridal design, restoration and custom fitting. She began her apprenticeship working alongside her grandmother, an Italian designer in Milan. Her formal education was completed at Florida State University where she graduated with a B.A. degree in Textiles and Design.

Our services include:
Cleaning & preservation
We treat the entire gown for sugar stains which do not dissolve during
ordinary cleaning. The gown is wrapped in acid-free tissue and sealed
in a premium quality box with an acid-free, acetate window for viewing.
Custom fitting & alterations
Hand-pressing of gown and veil
Delivery/pick-up of gown (1.5 mi radius)
Special destination wedding packaging
Ensure a destination wedding gown can be easily carried on the plane
