| Based on my experience with Bath & Tile Design Center Inc in Needham, you better off avoiding this place.
I made a mistake choosing this place as a supply place for my bath renovation. First of all, they are expensive! Online you could save close to 30-40% on large items such as vanities. I thought buying/returning online will be the nightmare when not have any service available and tried to avoid online at the cost of going to a local store and paying extra in a hope for good service. So much for the hope. Not worse it!
Pre-sale service was good, but this is as much positive feedback I can provide on them. After that you will have only disappointments:
- they will trick you to get more tiles or/and other stuff so you won't be short. Main point will be - "you can always return the remaining stuff"
- they won't treat you like a customer anymore the moment they charged your credit card - it will be your responsibility to inquire day after day about the status of your order
- they way behind on delivering on time which will put your entire project on hold.
- they don't care if the items you are getting are in complete set. The toilet the gave me was missing some parts. They offered to replace it with another week or two delay, but do they care? NO, They already have your money in they pocket
- they will use delay made up on delivery towards rejecting the items you will try to return - "the spare" ones they sold, covering themselfs with "30 days return policy on special orders". Come on guys, you are not in Russia anymore!
So, in summary, use the power of internet - do your homework on the people you are going to do business with - read reviews about the store, check return policy, clarify what items can or can't be returned (this guys at the end of the day had all items as "special order" category which is not-returnable. Period!)
For myself, this is the first and last time I had business with them and I can't recommend that store to anybody besides my enemies |
