Emil and Ruta Ioukhnikov are the owners and teachers of Dance Fever. They began their dancing careers at a very young age. Emil started dancing when he was five and Ruta at the age of eight. At the age of sixteen they became partners and proceeded to attend and win major competitions throughout all of Europe. Upon moving from Lithuania to Israel they opened their own studio, and began training and coaching children and youth dance pairs, who later became winners and finalists of major European competitions in Germany, Holland, France, England, and Italy.
On numerous occasions their dance couples became national champions and represented Israel at the World Championships. Shortly after arrival to United States they opened their own dance studio that has grown tremendously in just one year . They have over a hundred students ranging in ages from three to eighty. By virtue of having satisfactorily passed the Examinations required by the Council of the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dancing and Lithuanian Union of Dance Sport Professionals Emil and Ruta were granted the Distinctive Member Title in Ballroom and Latin American Dancing.
Group classes are open for both singles and couples. Group classes are designed to teach students the basic principals of social dancing which include patterns, musicality, partnering, and the characterization of each dance.
Private lessons are the best and quickest way to get results out of your dancing. Similar to having a personal trainer, having the exclusive attention of your instructor allows the focus to be on your specific needs. If you wish, your instructor can design a personalized program which includes the dances you want with a reasonable timeline to accomplish your goals.
