The Danforth Museum of Art Education Department offers a wide variety of opportunities and resources for children, teens, adults, teachers, and families.
Art classes include many levels of drawing, painting, watercolor and ceramics; professional development for teachers; and high school portfolio programs. Special workshops include our monthly free First Sunday Drop Into Art progam, Birthday Parties, and School Vacation Workshops. Our popular summer art classes are a creative alternative to summer camp in MetroWest Boston.
In the museum there are tours for children and adults, gallery talks by exhibiting artists, and lectures related to current exhibitions.
