In our Studio of Engaging Learning located in Brookline, MA we will develop the full potential of our students

Our program is based on more than 20 years of teaching experience during which time we have synthesized the best of Russian, American, and European logical and thinking developmental programs.
We are not going to spend your time trying to convince you that thinking and reasoning helps your child to develop his/her brains and creates a crucial basis for his/her future ability to learn. You would not be here, reading this page if you thought otherwise. What also should not be forgotten is that mathematical ability is nowadays one of the most important criteria for admission to all colleges.
The years of our studio's experience have demonstrated that the classes show positive results for children who like and understand math as well as for those children who are more inclined to humanities and who used to regard math as a rather boring, dry, and difficult discipline.

The goals of Math education process are:
- to help your child love the process of learning
- to teach your child reasoning, thinking, and logical skills in early childhood
- to introduce your child to the wonderful world of mathematics in a playful and fun way
- to develop in small children spatial imagination, creativity, and an understanding of geometry
- to create a good foundation of competence and confidence upon which
- all later learning will be built

The outline of our math study program:
We introduce children to logical thinking and reasoning through various developmental and mathematical games.
We teach children the basics of mathematics, computational skills, word problems, logical and analytical reasoning.
We develop spatial imagination and an understanding of geometry by using numerous design and mosaic sets.

We offer perfect math tutoring:
Evaluation class for your child in order to select the best group that matches his/her level.
This first class is private and free.
We accept all students in grades K through 4.
We offer small classes of no more than 5 students in a class.
Class meets once a week for one hour (60 min).
Each group will be learning via the program carefully designed for the individual group.
The system of in-class exercises and homework is set up in a way adapted to each individual child's level.
We ask for parental partnership and involvement in the learning process.

The founders and teachers of mathematics studio:
Larisa Itina - Founder and Educational Director of the Studio. Mrs. Itina has over 20 years in experience of teaching mathematics to children of different ages - from kindergarten to high school. She developed and perfected the unique methodology used in our studio.
Katherine Maslova - Co-Founder and Managing Director, holds an M.S. in Mathematics from Moscow State University (Russia) and an M.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University (Boston). She has over 15 years of experience in academia and industry.
