Harvest

Our newly designed open kitchen, spacious bar, and fireside dining complete the comfortable interior.
Graceful linden trees offer shade to the Garden Terrace, our private garden café that boasts fireside dining, blooming flower boxes, and heaters for the chilly night of spring and fall.
Noted by Travel & Leisure as a Harvard Square classic, Harvest has also been lauded for its New England Cuisine by Zagat, Boston Magazine and The Improper Bostonian.
History
A Harvard Square treasure since the 1970's, Harvest has been a fertile training ground for some of the country’s most celebrated chefs. Our illustrious alumni include Lydia Shire, Chris Schlesinger, Barbara Lynch, Frank McClelland, Sara Moulton, Bob Kinkead and Scott Bryan. Harvest burst back onto the culinary scene with a revitalized team in 1998 under the new ownership of respected restaurateur and real estate developer Kenneth Himmel (Grill 23 & Bar and Excelsior, Boston / Time Warner Center, New York).

Additional awards from Boston Magazine and The Improper Bostonian have included Best Guaranteed Great Meal In Cambridge, Best Outdoor Dining, and Best Sunday Brunch. Noted by Travel & Leisure as a Harvard Square classic, Harvest does not rest on its laurels as Harvard Square’s culinary landmark.
