Focal Point Opticians Its` almost hard to believe that from their humble beginings more that 25 years ago with a single location in Newton, Focal Point Opticians has managed to become a beacon for craftsmanship, style and service for the industry in the Greater Boston Area. With over 50 designer lines of frames and winner of the Tab`s Readers Choice Award, Focal Point has become a leader in their field. The 2003 Consumer Reports "Checkbook" recommended Focal Point Opticians for hte highest quality, exceptional service and style. The legacy started when Joanna Azzoto established Focal Point Opticians` first location in 1974. Since then, the business has continued to grow at about the same rate as the family. Neal joined Joanna at Focal Point in 1977, later marriying her, beginning the family tradition. In 1990 Focal Point doubled in size and business continued to flourish. Now setting the bar for excellence, Focal Point Opticians has proven that a "mom & pop store" can offer a lot more than just a community feeling.
