Gerry's Music Shop continues to be the leader in music education. We are always looking for new ways to support musicians and music education. Through close partnerships with companies such as Ovation Guitars, Pearl Percussion, Zildjian Cymbals and Conn-Selmer, we sponsor various events throughout the year.
In providing assistance with clinics, workshops, master-classes and performances, it is our goal to not only educate, but motivate, musicians of all ages and abilities.
Gerry's Music has Western New England's most complete and extensive repair shop. Dedicated to developing musicians, Gerry's Music Shop prides itself in its repair shop and the services it offers. Combined, our repair technicians have over 40 years of experience working with musicians of all ages and abilities, from the student to the professional.
While we continue to seek out new ways and techniques to repair instruments, we try to continue the integrity of old traditions to keep instruments in their best playable condition.
Larry Mock, the repair shop manager and technician, learned his trade through the Red Wing Instrument Repair School. Specializing in both brass and woodwind repair, Larry has traveled the country working on instruments of some of the most accomplished musicians. Joe, the newest member of the team, learned his trade as a member of various Naval bands. Through their experiences, Joe and Larry understand the importance of a "quick" turnaround on repairs. Together, they work hard to guarantee that repair work is completed within 6 days.
