Maya's most important message to her patients is to always try to adhere daily to a regimen that nurtures optimal health. Every day must involve mindful awareness of what one eats, drinks, exercises, breathes, and thinks.
Not being in touch with one's survival at the base level every day, allows for poor choices, opportunistic infection, degeneration, and injury. Every day is a day in training, to maintain a life of good health.
Maya Chaudhuri is an acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and a proponent of Chinese modern nutrition and a whole foods diet. With patient, sincere motivation, and knowledge of Oriental medicine, Maya has helped her patients to discover new strengths, and discipline, and the results have followed.
Oriental medicine uses differential diagnosis to discern constitutional characteristics, strengths and weaknesses, in other words, clinical signs and symptoms, to create a personal treatment strategy. Oriental medicine (which consists of various modalities such as acupuncture, moxibustion, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional diet) focuses on returning the body to an optimal state of health.
By addressing the cause of illness at its root, Oriental medicine can recognize and effectively treat individuals' constitutional imbalances long before they become physical complaints. The success rate for cure is far greater when treatment is conducted using differential diagnosis strategy.
Maya Chaudhur holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture, diplomas in Acupuncture and Chinese herbology granted by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), as well as licenses granted the by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, Committee on Acupuncture to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Maya Chaudhuri’s personal sports experience: yoga, speed skating, power walking, hiking, running, and athletic training.
