At Dr. Magalhaes and Associates we`ll take the headache out of the typical contact lens examination experience. Your eyes will be examined by the most seasoned doctors who use advanced equipment to custom-fit your eyes to the latest contact lens technologies. Products like colored, cosmetic Freshlooks contact lenses and overnight Focus Night and Day lenses are premium products we utilize daily. We use only the most oxygen-permeable contact lenses that allow your eyes to breathe as naturally as possible.
Much of our product line is carried in stock for same-day dispensing of your yearly supply of lenses. Rebates are also available to help defray the cost of your replacement or newly fit contact lenses.
Don`t be nervous or afraid, as our patient technicians will take you through every step of the way, form insertion and removal to final lens order. They will teach you the necessary skills to make you independent with your new way of seeing. It is truly a remarkable experience when putting on your first pair of contact lenses. Our eye exams will take 25-45 minutes. Your eyes will need to be dilated, which means they will be sensitive to light and your "near" vision may be fuzzy for up to four hours. For these reasons you may want to bring sunglasses with you, or we can provide you with a disposable pair. Please also bring any prescription glasses you may have, including computer or reading glasses.
