The owner
Daniel W. Ladd has been a real estate attorney for over twenty-five years. The primary focus of his work is representing buyers, sellers, developers and lenders throughout Eastern Massachusetts. Following a number of yearsas managing partner in a private conveyancing law practice, Daniel Ladd accepted a position as in-house counsel to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in 1991. His work involved handling the disposition of real estate owned by failed banks and concentrating on the sale of complex commercial properties.
In 1993, Attorney Ladd returned to private law practice and is again focusing his work in the area of residential and commercial real estate, including conveyancing, financing, foreclosures and resolution of complex title issues. His practice also involves consumer law, business planning and other areas of general law. In addition, he has developed a network of legal specialists to assist his clients with a full range of other legal services.
Daniel Ladd is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association. He is an issuing agent for First American Title Insurance Company, Old Republic Title, Chicago Title and Lawyers Title Insurance Company. He has served on the Board of Directors for many civic, religious and business organizations, and has recently been a member of the Housing Commission for the Town of Lincoln and a Board member of the Housing Corporation of Arlington. Attorney Ladd has also served as an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and the American Arbitration Association. He was recently a trustee of the Battle Road Farm Condominium, a 120 unit mixed income community.
