Child Care and Preschool Center We know that choosing the right day care and preschool for your child is a crucial decision and may impact your child’s growth and development. We pride ourselves on our knowledge and experience of childhood education. We would like to invite you and you child to join our fun learning group, where parents, children, and teachers together can experience the determination of our Center.
Our Goal:
To promote social, emotional, intellectual, physical and cognitive development appropriate to all ages and developmental levels of all the children.
The philosophy of Welcome Center is to provide each individual child with love, support and respect; to provide each child with the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities and learn process; to provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment in which each child will feel loved, valued and respected, regardless of ethnic background, race, color or religious beliefs. By working together we develop your child into a successful “Big school student”.
Age appropriate skills and concepts will be the basic foundation of our curriculum. Opportunities for practice of these skills and understanding of these concepts will be provided through themes based on the children’s interest. We make every attempt to adapt our program to fit the needs of the child rather than expect all children to fit into already established program.
Our staff lovely encourages all children to be active learners and participate in activities such as:
• Morning sport exercises with music accompany.
• Active play with age proper toys-(buggy rides, block building, puzzles, railways, games playing with group and individually
• Science and nature-world discovery, international cultures, classes of good manners, simple counting, math
• Reading, Listening and Speaking-language and vocabulary development, story time, finger plays, dramatis play, role playing, Puppy Theatre, alphabet and children literature
• Music (live musician with an accordeon) and dancing-making music, singing song, dance, children skills concert presentation
• Art and Craft-(Art-Studio, discover of colors, painting, drawing, application making, beading, cooking, sculpturing
• Baby Yoga and Sport -creative body movement, sport games
• Fields trip -isiting zoo, museums, farms, library, school
• Birthdays and Holidays celebration with child creativity and parents participation
Our teachers:
All our teachers and assistants are certified by OCCS, and holding associate or bachelor degrees in childhood education. Our staff includes experts in music, dance, language, art, and sport activities. They are well trained according to Center philosophy and policies.
Our Center’s classrooms have been newly renovated to provide a safe, clean environment for your child. The Center is well equipped with high quality and great performance toys and learning supplies.
We believe that this information has provided a good overview of our Center and will help you make the right decisions for your child’s future.
”Welcome” Center is open-year round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
We offer full time program and options of a part time program.
