The Temple Emunah Brotherhood is an organization that brings the men of the congregation together for social, religious, service and fund raising activities for the benefit of the Temple and the community. There are approximately 150 members. Social events include movie nights, breakfasts with speakers or other entertainment, annual Brotherhood deli dinner, family Super Bowl Party, spring family barbeque, and other events. |

Temple Emunah Welcomes:
All Jewish men and women, their Jewish partners, and their children as members of our congregation, regardless of their sexual orientation, race, or national or ethnic origin. Non-Jewish partners or children as reyim ahuvim (beloved friends), in the same manner in which we welcome and recognize any individual of another faith at Temple Emunah. We are committed to affording them every opportunity to access our faith, its traditions and teachings.
The true heart and soul of Temple Emunah is not its activities or even its physical description or location. It is the people – the members – who make Temple Emunah one of the premier Conservative synagogues in New England and beyond. With a rich heritage of strong lay leadership and an active, involved, and inviting congregation, Temple Emunah truly inspires and lives up to its name, Emunah, faith and integrity.
The mission of Temple Emunah is to perpetuate Judaism by maintaining an egalitarian, Conservative community, linked to God and Klal Yisrael through religious, educational, cultural and social activities in order to instill in its members a common bond of mitzvot (ethical values and actions).
Temple Emunah is located about 10 miles northwest of downtown Boston at the intersection of Rt. 2 and Rt. 128/I-95.
Temple Emunah serves 500 families, the majority of whom live in Lexington and the remainder live in 25 surrounding suburban communities.
Temple Emunah is a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.
Temple Emunah greatfully receives funding for several programs from the Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
