Healthworks Fitness Center
Our Fitness Center in Boston
Healthworks offers complimentary consultations and equipment orientations. These safe and comprehensive sessions will help establish a starting point for new members. They will also provide motivation and continuing education for our current members.
Health & Fitness Assessment.
This is a private, 30 minute appointment, during which a fitness specialist will assess your current health and fitness level through fitness measurements, based upon your individual fitness goals. This appointment will help determine your starting point, and show your progress, throughout your membership. Follow up appointments are available upon recommendation of Fitness Specialist.
JumpStart!
This is a personalized introduction to the club services and pieces of equipment relevant to your fitness goals. During this session, a trained fitness specialist will learn about your health and fitness history, discuss your fitness goals, and design a general exercise program that is motivating, safe, and effective. Please come dressed to exercise.
Equipment Orientations.
During these orientations a fitness specialist will instruct you on proper form and usage of a particular line of strength equipment: Nautilus, Technogym, Free Weights, Cardiovascular, or a basic stretching program. You may also receive an exercise prescription and education on club usage specific to the fitness floor.
