Fly Fishing Travel
Fly Fishing has been my passion since I was 8 years old, fishing in Northern New Hampshire. I work with a very limited amount of fly fishing lodges, flyfishing guides and outfitters throughout the world. You won't see 225 different fly fishing destinations here, just a few places that we have developed and guided at over the years. Alaska was my first fly fishing destination and Lisa and I still spend the summer up there guiding our float trips. Some close friends have a small very personal fly fishing lodge on Christmas Island, In Belize there is a fly fishing resort so special Lisa and I decided to get married there. Mexico's Caribbean Coast is a peaceful remote ecological preserve where fly fishing for bonefish and a way of living are still untouched. Patagonia is my winter trout get away when I need to stand in a cool river, fly fishing for rainbow trout. We have some wonderful multi-day float trips in Argentina and 2 beautiful lodges in Chile. Costa Rica has huge tarpon on the Caribbean coast and sailfish on the Pacific coast with some beautiful jungle in between. Russia's Kamchatka peninsula is truly the last frontier for big rainbow trout try our tent camp or the more adventurous float trip. We keep our selection of fly fishing destinations small because our strength is the personal involvement with any adventure we offer. We don't have every lodge in the Bahamas or every bonefish destination in the world or 3 different flyfishing lodges in Argentina, just a few carefully selected remote spots that have lots of pretty easy to catchwhile fly fishing! We built our Alaska clientele one client at a time, one on one and it is successful because of that personal involvement. With our other destinations we follow the same rule, t ake a few things and know them well and we will be successful.
